Cornerstone Wellness Coaching and Consulting
Welcome to Cornerstone Wellness Coaching and Consulting (CWCC), led by Dr. Moriel McDuffy. For over 20 years, I've helped professionals and individuals in high-pressure roles clarify their goals, sharpen performance, and protect against job burnout.
CWCC's coaching draws on my background in psychological research, social work, and professional management experience along with ongoing training in neurofeedback, to help clients understand how the brain handles stress, focus, and change. Our services include individual and group coaching, mental health education, and consulting tailored to organizations.
Coaching is distinct from therapy and is not a substitute for clinical treatment.
If you're ready to hit a specific goal, perform better under pressure, or build lasting focus and resilience, let's talk.

Brain Based Coaching
Brain-based coaching for clarity, resilience, and lasting change. Discover how stress, ingrained behavior patterns, and emotional responses shape your daily life—then build practical, evidence-based strategies to move forward with sharper focus, greater confidence, and a stronger sense of purpose.
This approach is trauma-informed at its core, recognizing that past experiences can shape the nervous system's response to stress long before they show up as patterns in daily life. Rather than pushing you toward quick fixes, coaching sessions create a safe, non-judgmental space to understand these responses and work with them—not against them. The result is change that feels sustainable, not forced.
Program Evaluation
Strong programs are built on more than good intentions — they need structures that actually work for the people they serve. This program evaluation service helps human service organizations, alternative schools, juvenile justice programs, and behavioral health settings take an honest look at what's happening on the ground: where things are working, where they're breaking down, and why. Using a mix of research methods — including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and direct observation — we assess program design, staff practices, and organizational culture to identify gaps between what a program is meant to do and what it's actually delivering. From there, we build practical, realistic recommendations — not generic best-practice checklists — so your organization can strengthen outcomes, improve staff confidence, and better serve the individuals and families who depend on you.

Mental Health Education & Training
Mental health doesn't have to feel mysterious or overwhelming. These trainings translate clinical knowledge into clear, practical tools that educators, youth workers, leaders, and frontline staff can use every day. Through interactive workshops and tailored sessions, participants learn to recognize signs of stress and trauma, respond to crises with calm and clarity, set healthy limits with compassion, and know when — and how — to connect students, families, or staff with additional support. Every offering is customized to your school or organization's reality, so your team leaves with language, strategies, and frameworks that fit your culture, strengthen resilience, and make mental health part of how you work — not an added burden.
Executive Coaching
Leading people and programs in high-stress environments shouldn't cost you your health—or your team's stability. This executive coaching supports leaders who carry complex responsibilities, chronic demands, and the emotional weight of serving others. Together, we address burnout and rumination, clarify priorities, and build practical habits that protect your energy while strengthening your leadership presence.
We also focus on the systems around you: building cohesive, trauma-informed teams, improving communication and trust, and examining program structures to see where things are breaking down. Using a mix of coaching, clinical insight, and program assessment tools, we identify what's working, what isn't, and how to shift culture and operations without overwhelming your staff. This service is ideal for executives and directors in schools, human service organizations, and behavioral health settings who want sustainable leadership, stronger teams, and programs that truly serve the people they're designed to help.
